What is Cosmetic Dentistry?

VENEERS
Usually customized from porcelain, veneers are thin, semi-translucent facings bonded to a single tooth or multiple front teeth. Veneers are durable, stain resistant, and natural looking. They conceal broken, chipped, discolored, crooked, and misshapen teeth. They can provide you with the smile you have always wanted. BONDING
Bonding is a more conservative process in which tooth-colored material is applied, sculpted into shape, hardened, and polished to match the surrounding teeth. With this cosmetic dentistry procedure, you can close gaps, repair chipped or fractured teeth, and/or disguise discolored teeth. Bonding usually requires one office visit and no anesthesia. Bonding is the choice of treatment for patients who have minor front teeth imperfections.
TEETH WHITENING
Teeth-whitening procedures offer patients with stained, discolored, or dull teeth an opportunity to have a whiter, brighter smile. Whitening significantly reduces external surface stains affected by age, food, beverages, and tobacco products. We provide both an at-home and an in-office whitening system option.
ZOOM! IN-OFFICE
The Zoom! Chairside Whitening System is a scientifically advanced tooth whitening procedure. Backed by years of research, it is a safe, effective, and fast way to whiten your teeth. In less than an hour, your teeth can become dramatically whiter. Zoom! Chairside Whitening is ideal for anyone looking to whiten their teeth with immediate results. The convenience of Zoom! in comparison to over-the-counter options of wearing trays or strips makes it the perfect choice for busy individuals. The procedure is simple. It begins with a short preparation to cover your soft tissues such as the lips, cheeks and gums, leaving only your teeth exposed. The proprietary Zoom! Whitening Gel is then applied, which is used simultaneously with a specially designed blue LED light. The light and gel work together to gently penetrate your teeth, breaking up stains and discoloration.
ZOOM! AT-HOME
As mentioned above, we also provide an at-home whitening system option. This option requires a simple, short office visit where impressions of your teeth are obtained to prepare your custom-fitted trays. Once your custom trays are completed, you will then be provided with everything needed to begin the whitening process. This includes your custom trays, instructions, ZOOM! whitening gel that is safe for individual use, and even your own shade guide to use for before & after comparison. You are then able to proceed at your convenience in any place of your choosing, such as the comfort of your own home.
